The W05 Series wallmount chassis provides a unique
solution to how to mount a PC on a factory floor.
The chassis is a high performance design in a low
cost compact enclosure. Feature rich, the W05 Series
is a solid, robust design which will meet the most
rigorous and demanding requirements.
The enclosure is constructed
of 16 gauge steel, clear zinc plated for corrosion
protection and an attractive appearance. The locking
door is attractively detailed and is provided with
EMI gaskets for FCC/CE compliance.
There is more than ample drive
storage with the provided two internal 3-1/2 inch
hard drive bays, one front accessible 3-1/2 inch
drive bay. The internal CD is uniquely mounted in
a swing-down carrier to allow use of low cost 5-1/4"
drives yet allow the chassis to be only 8 inches
deep.

The W05 is intended for harsh,
unattended operation. A lockable front door interlocks
with the top connector cover to provide a secure
system environment preventing tampering. The power
and reset switches are located behind the top slot
cover. When closed up, the system does not appear
to be a PC.
The chassis provides natural
updraft cooling for low power applications. For
higher power systems, two 92mm cooling fans are
provided on the bottom of the chassis and blow up
in the natural heat flow direction.
The W05 Chassis provides for
mounting an ATX motherboard up to full size server
boards. The W5000 Chassis accepts a 14-slot passive
backplane. Various power supply options are available
including 300W redundant, integral UPS operation,
and 12/24/48VDC operation.
